About the Tournament
We are ready to host the new legends that will make their way to the forefront at the 2026 IHSA Boys State Basketball Tournament, held March 12–14, 2026.
The 2026 schedule includes all classes in one weekend. Sessions include two games, with the second game starting approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Thursday, March 12
10:00 a.m.—Goreville vs. Lawrenceville
11:45 a.m.—Eastland vs. Marshall
2:30 p.m.—Peoria Manual vs. Tolono Unity
4:15 p.m.—Quincy Notre Dame vs. Farragut Career Academy
7:00 p.m.—Class 1A 3rd Place Game
8:45 p.m.—Class 2A 3rd Place Game
Friday, March 13

The Venue: State Farm Center

Parking is available in all four quadrants surrounding the State Farm Center for $15/car and $30/bus. Fans may enter from either the West off First St. or the East off Fourth St.

On-site Events & Activities
Before, during, and after the games, there will be a variety of activities happening in the State Farm Center to enjoy. The All Star Zone, located in the East Entrance in the Traditions Club features caricatures, face-painting, glitter tattoos and a variety of family-friendly activities. Don’t miss mini-games set up for all to play alongside an interactive basketball station from Dick’s House of Sport.
The Experience Champaign-Urbana Welcome Booth will be open Thursday & Friday, 9 am–5:30 pm, showcasing community information to help you enjoy your weekend! Find us at the West Entrance of the State Farm Center.
All Star Zone
This free area located in the Traditions Club, just inside the East Entrance, will provide endless entertainment for all throughout the tournament. We’ll have a fun photo spot, button-making and plenty of games & activities to enjoy from Dick’s House of Sport .
